It is essential that a high degree of rigour is invested in maximising the completion rate of departing employees participating in the exit interview process. Any organisation should expect a minimum 80% participation rate, and should strive for 90%+.

If an organisation is achieving a lower participation rate, this severely affects the validity of the data collected. If only 50% of departing employees are participating, which 50% are they? How different would the data look if the other 50% responded?

ExitInterview.com.au have a tried and tested structured approach to ensuring the maximum take-up rate of the exit interview process (including some extremely time-poor industries), thereby ensuring the highest possible overall validity of the exit interview process
